The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is alarmed with regard to the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue developed for intervention activities a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a sassa status check service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and raise use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
